REPAIR GUIDE

Step by step

  1. 1
    Shut the water off
Close the hot and cold valves under the sink. Open the faucet to relieve pressure.
  2. 2
    Pull the handle
Pop the small cap, loosen the set screw with an Allen key, and lift the handle off.
  3. 3
    Lift the cartridge
Unscrew the retaining nut. Pull the old cartridge straight up โ€” note the orientation of the tabs.
  4. 4
    Fit the new one
Drop the new cartridge in the same orientation, tighten the nut, and refit the handle.
  5. 5
    Turn water back on
Open the valves slowly. The drip should be gone. If it still weeps, check the aerator next.
