Realign the drawer slides

Step by step

   Pull the drawer out

   Most metal slides have a plastic release tab. Press both sides and lift the drawer free.

   Look down the slides

   They should be level with each other. A single loose screw is usually enough to drop one side.
3. 3
   Retighten and square

   Tighten every screw. If a hole is stripped, move the slide 2 mm and drive a new screw into fresh wood.
4. 4
   Slide it home

   Set the drawer back on the tracks and close it firmly once to seat the bearings.
